Atomic Test-Pilot
Nuclien and Hiragana Pixel Party are comfortably sitting in the unchanged “awaiting review” state…so no progres there…
I have been developing Game IV at a steady pace, it’s called Atomic Test-Pilot and as part of making it I thouht I would create a dev diary on You Tube each day…I think I am grasping the findamentals of coding a little more each day, as this game seems to be rocketing through. I also find that making a video every 24 hours inspires me to make sure something worthwhile is one the screen. So I am taking a lot of shortcuts, and saying to myslef that plenty of things are simply good enougheven though I could spend longer on them…
The game is pretty simplistic…its based on Nuclear Pulse Propulsion which is a sci-fi thing I was facinated by years ago…anyway the idea was that you drop a nuclear warhead behind your spaceship and then ride the blast…you keep on doing this and your ship get’s faster and faster. What I didnt know was that an the 70’s they figured out how to make it a reality, and id we used this methid we could get to mars in 8 weeks. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_pulse_propulsion anyway so yeah the game is based on that. You simply tap the screen at the right time, it’s like a 90’s golf game on speed before all those analogue swings took over and made everything feel floaty (unless of course you were playing links 2004 on the Xbox)
Anyway here they are:
Day 1:
Day 2:
Day 3:
Day 4:
Day 5:
Day 6:
Day 7:
